Top tip: As September can be warm, I’d recommend finding an Agadir hotel with a swimming pool where you can relax if the beach gets too busy. It's also a great place to escape to if the wind picks up - sand flying in your face is never fun!

If lounging all day isn’t your thing, you’ll find a bunch of exciting water sports available, from jet skiing to boat trips and surfing lessons.
Agadir is just a stone's throw away from some of the best surf spots in Morocco, most of which are located around the village of Taghazout (about a 30-minute drive north). During the summer months, the conditions are perfect for beginners and intermediates, as the winter swells are yet to arrive.
To really up your surfing game, I suggest booking a stay at one of the surf camps or hostels in the area. You'll not only benefit from expert local guidance and be taken to the best breaks for your ability, but you'll get to share the experience with like-minded people.
